3 Oct: Kidney Health Campaign at Kompleks Masyarakat Penyayang

Time: 8.00am - 1.00pm
Venue: Kompleks Masyarakat Penyayang (Caring Society Complex), Jalan Utama
Co-organized by Rotary Club Penang and the Penang Medical Practitioners' Society (PMPS), this health awareness event is a joint effort by number of specialists from the private and government medical service industry.
For the first 200 persons, there will be free door gifts and free health tests of blood pressure check, blood glucose check, haemoglobin level check (for first 50 persons only), body fat measurement /body mass index and urine combo test. Nestle Nutrition will also be conducting free sampling of their diabetic formula nutrition drink "Nutren Diabetik" which will also be available on sale at a special price
Following that, there will be free health talks by specialists on topics related to kidney health and diabetes. The event will be ended by a short briefing on organ donation by Penang General Hospital. All are welcome to sign up as organ donors as an organ donation drive will also be conducted throughout the event.
Admission is free and all are welcome to participate in this public health event. Come and take this opportunity to find out your health status as most people are living with undetected kidney damage.
